Meet Taylor Oberhelman-McLeod

Co-Founder, Therapist, and Supervisor

At Bloom & Breathe Therapy, we believe that meaningful healing begins with feeling seen, understood, and supported. Today, we're excited to introduce one of our co-founders, Taylor Oberhelman-McLeod, LPC.

Taylor is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), perinatal mental health, and supporting individuals navigating life's many transitions. She is passionate about helping clients feel empowered by creating an atmosphere where they can authentically be themselves, free from judgment, while building the skills and insight needed to move toward lasting change.

Taylor's clinical interests include:

  • Pregnancy and Postpartum Mental Health

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Anxiety

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Women's Mental Health

  • Men's Mental Health in the Perinatal Period

  • Life Transitions and Adjustment Challenges

  • Stress and Burnout

She believes that every client's journey is unique and tailors treatment to meet each individual's specific needs and goals. Taylor integrates evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients work through challenges, deepen self-understanding, and improve overall well-being. She strives to provide an empathic, grounded space where individuals can process painful experiences and emotions, explore patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and reconnect with their strengths and values.

As a therapist, supervisor, and mother of two young children, Taylor understands firsthand both the beauty and the challenges that come with growing a family. While welcoming a child can be one of life's most meaningful experiences, it can also bring unexpected stress, identity shifts, relationship changes, anxiety, grief, and feelings of overwhelm. Her personal and professional experiences have fostered a deep passion for supporting individuals and families during the perinatal period because growing a family impacts every member of the family system, and that each person's experience deserves support, understanding, and care.

When she's not working with clients, Taylor enjoys baking, reading, traveling, running, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her family and friends.

Taylor co-founded Bloom & Breathe Therapy with a shared vision of creating a practice where clients receive compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care while feeling genuinely supported through every season of life.

If you're looking for support with anxiety, OCD, trauma, perinatal mental health concerns, or navigating life's transitions, Taylor would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.

We look forward to connecting with you.
