Meet Gwen Riccobene, LAC

Hi, I’m Gwendolyn Riccobene and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) at Bloom and Breathe Therapy. I am currently located and provide telehealth services in Arizona. I graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in psychology and a minor in family and human development. Following my undergraduate career, I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through The Family Institute at Northwestern University, where I completed my capstone on sense of self and well-being in motherhood.

I specialize in maternal, perinatal, and women’s mental health, as well as relationship concerns, life transitions, and OCD. I take a holistic, person-centered approach that is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based practices, like ACT, psychodynamic therapy, and CBT. I believe everyone is unique, which is why I approach each client with openness, curiosity, and a tailored approach to meet their specific needs.

I feel grateful to join the team at Bloom and Breathe Therapy because of the warm, welcoming environment they provide for both clients and clinicians. I appreciate Bloom and Breathe’s focus on the postpartum population, as postpartum anxiety, depression, and OCD are often overlooked. Being surrounded by experienced clinicians who specialize in perinatal mental health allows me to deepen my skills and grow as a provider in this field in order to provide the best care to my clients.

In my free time I love hanging out with my dog, doing hot yoga, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy reading and playing board games. I am truly grateful for the work that I do and would love the opportunity to work with you.

I receive direct clinical supervision by AZBBHE-approved supervisors, Virginia Kuhn, MA LPC, and Taylor Oberhelman-McLeod, MA LPC.
