Hi, I’m Courtney Johnson
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student, currently training in the assessment and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, as well as a wide range of life concerns.
As a pre-licensed professional counselor, I provide therapy for adults navigating trauma, identity, life transitions, complex relationships, and more, creating a soft space where you can explore hard things without judgment and with support and curiosity.
My approach integrates Psychodynamic, Existential, and Systems-based theories with evidence-based interventions tailored to you. That means that together, we will work to find relief for your most immediate and distressing concerns and also explore the deeper patterns, experiences, and meanings that may be shaping them.
In my personal life, I enjoy reading a good book, watching a movie or show, camping and paddling around the Southwest, and spending time with my family and our three dogs.
I receive direct clinical supervision by AZBBHE-approved supervisors, Virginia Kuhn, MA LPC, and Taylor Oberhelman-McLeod, MA LPC.
