Meet Manya Brown, LAC-T

Therapist, mom, and book enthusiast

Hi, I'm Manya Brown, LAC-T! I'm the newest face at Bloom & Breathe Therapy.

I've always known I wanted to be a therapist. It's an honor to sit with people through life's messiness, celebrate their breakthroughs, and witness those meaningful "aha!" moments. This work is one of the places where I feel I truly belong. There's something sacred about being invited into someone's inner world. It's a privilege I carry with me into every session.

My hope is that every client leaves feeling seen, heard, and supported. I believe connection can be a place to catch your breath, lay down what's been weighing on you, and begin moving toward the life you want. Therapy isn't about changing who you are, it's about helping you let go of the burdens that keep you from living as your most authentic self. Together, we'll clear the way so you can see the path ahead, one step at a time. Some sessions we'll dig deep, others we'll simply breathe and be. However we get there, my goal is for you to leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in.

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating OCD, anxiety, life transitions, and the wild ride that is pregnancy and parenthood. My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Person-Centered Therapy, and Art Therapy, but more than anything, I believe in meeting you where you are. You're the expert on your own life. I'm here to offer guidance, evidence-based tools, and a supportive space where healing can happen. Whether our sessions are filled with tears, laughter, reflection, or rebuilding, my promise is the same: you'll be met with compassion, respect, and without judgment.

A little about me outside the office:
- I have four kids (so life runs on snacks, chaos, and lots of love!)
- I love creating art, getting lost in nature, and reading far too many books at once (fantasy, sci-fi, and historical fiction).
- I see clients in person at our Mesa office and provide telehealth therapy throughout Arizona.

If any part of my story or approach resonates with you, I'd love to meet you where you are. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey.

Reach out today to schedule a session! I can't wait to meet you.
